I’m Leaving on a Jet Plane. Don’t Know When I’ll be Back Again.

Gotta love misleading titles, but this blog is going away. I feel bad for taking up Omar’s webspace for a blog I never update. Thanks for the free hosting over the years. I appreciate it, man! Thank you to everyone who read this blog. I can’t believe anyone actually wanted to read it! You guys are suckers for punishment. Let’s take a moment to reflect on all the good times we had. This pretty much a chronicle of our crazy university days. Nah, I’m just yanking your chain on the sentimental shit. The good news is that I know when I’ll be back again. It’s already been updated.

It’s…The Enterprise!?!E!?!

And yet another Star Trek post because I know how much everyone likes them. What we have here is the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E; the 6th Federation ship to bear the name Enterprise.

Launched: 2372
Length: 680m (130m longer than the CN tower)
Crew Complement: 850
Maximum Speed: Warp 9.7

Actually, this is just a model. It took months of work […]

The New Xbox Experience

Was part of the New Xbox Experience (NXE) supposed to be a Red Ring of Death? Cuz, there is nothing new about those. I got one during the upgrade process. I thought my Xbox was fubared, but it continued with the update after a restart. My 360 died about 2 weeks after the update. […]

Quantum of Solace

I know this post is late. I started before exam, but I never finished it. Just be happy there are updates. I’m not even gonna bother with a round-about witty introduction to this review. I’m just gonna get to the point. Quantum of Solace was major disappointment, especially with the success of Casino Royale. The […]

It’s…The Enterprise!?!

I saw Quantum of Solace this weekend. I was horribly disappointed with it especially considering the momentum they built up with Casino Royale. Anyway, more on that in another post. I however was ecstatic about the trailer for the new Star Trek movie coming out next May. The trailer didn’t show much about the movie, […]

MSI Wind Notebook

“I’ve given into Engadget’s hype on these machines. Now that I have a capable desktop I’m thinking about slimming down my laptop.
My D810 is more than capable for today’s tasks even with it’s old 1.73 GHz Pentium M. It’s served me well for 3 years. At the time I bought it, it was more […]

Holy Shit!

I know I’m late on this (mostly has to do with the backlight dying on my laptop), but I just had to say something on this. Microsoft had its press conference on Monday. It was fairly mundane. Just showing off most of the games we knew coming. Fallout 3, Gears of Wars 2, and Resident […]

NDA Lifted. Project Delayed Indefinitely

If anyone can remember, back in first year, I was gonna do a satirical rap on the people I hung out with. We even came up with a moniker for me, Fiddy Percent. Writing the lyrics was the easy part. I was writing them when I should have been studying for midterms. Oh well, you […]

Not Gonna Name Any Names

Last week we went on one of our infamous camping trips. This time we went to Horse Creek Ranch in Fort Assiniboine. It’s two hours northwest of Edmonton. As usual, camping included the usual hyjinx of beer drinking, injury, near-death experiences, of course, and nearly getting kicked out.
As you can figure from the name, Horse […]

Looking for a Concert to go to

I’ve never gone to a concert before, and I’ve been wanting to change that. In Edmonton, we have Rocketman coming, Bloc Party, 50 Cent and G-Unit, Backstreet Boys minus Kevin, New Kids on the Block, and the Bounce Summer Bash (held by Edmonton’s pop radio station) with Akon, Kardinal Offishal, Wyclef Jean, and Sean […]
